Panasonic KX-TG2722 no dial tone

"No dial tone" certainly needs a bit more information. Technology requires doing the most simple aspects first then on to the complex. For starters, did you try a different phone line? Is the phone service turned on? Is the unit plugged into the wall and fully charged? More info required for your request.

Lost phone manual, uniden d2997

I have a standard trouble-shooting routine for cordless phones. 1) Remove the battery from the handset (from all handsets for a multi-handset version). Then unplug the power cord from the base and wall outlet and also remove the telephone cord. Wait a few minutes and then reconnect the power and phone line cords. Reconnect the battery (ies) for the handsets. Make sure this connection is tight. Then make sure that the battery is fully charged (15 hours before first use) and register the handsets if needed. This is done by putting each handset onto the base in order for the D2997. Wait about 30 seconds for each one until you see the Handset Registered message. Make sure that you are within range of the base.

Next try a different telephone (RJ-11) phone cord between the base and the wall jack. Also check if the power adapter for the base is warm. For the next set of tests, I like to use an old corded telephone. Using a different phone, check if you get dial tone at the jack. If there is a dial tone, then the problem is with the Uniden phone. If the above trouble-shooting didn't help, then contact Uniden. These phones aren't meant to be user serviced.

If you do not have a normal dial tone, try another jack on the same telephone line. If there is dial tone at another jack, then you have a problem with the first jack. Otherwise find where your telephone service comes in. If you have a fairly new service, you'll find an RJ-11 jack. Plug your test phone into the jack and test for dial tone. If you have no dial tone or can't test your line, call your phone company. They will fix any outside problem for free. If it is an inside wiring problem, look at the visible wiring and determine if the wires are damaged. Open the jack (if only one is bad) and check for loose wires. There are two types of jacks. One secures the terminal wires with screws and the other uses a punch-down jack. For the screw type, strip additional insulation from the conductors, if needed, and then reconnect them. For the punch-down type, you will need the punch-down tool. It is available at many hardware stores in the wiring section. If you can't see an obvious problem with the wiring, you may want a professional to deal with the wiring in the wall. Your telephone company will do this for a fee.

We checked battery at radio shack...fully charged...checked the phone line with another phone...push talk on phone...no dial tone.

You need to register the handset to the base. One way that works for most phones is to page the handset from the base. If that does not work then you need to find the manual

We have 3 Uniden phones, no dial tone on any of them. We have unplugged and plugged in with no change. The phone company said it's our phones. What help do you have to offer?

OK, go to the FIRST jack, where the "Line" comes in. At this Jack, use a "Normal" phone, NOT the Uniden, if you can, this is to see if you have Dial tone there, if not, then your problem is on the "Outside" as it were.
Now if you DO have Dial Tone, then try ONE of the Uniden's there at that jack, see if it works OK, if NOT OK, try disconnecting everything AFTER this jack. So that you are using ONLY the line in from the exchange. Terminals 2 & 5, If OK, now, then you have a wiring fault, past that Jack. All phones use connections, 2 & 5 in the BT jack. ALL BT jacks are wired in Parallel. So you would have to find out why you have this problem. (Often it is a staple thru the wire etc). So line comes in on 2 & 5 the extension wires go on 2 & 5, and go to the "Other" jack. In the master Jack, then we would have 2 sets of wires on 2 & 5, one coming in from exchange, the other going away to another jack. Each subsequent jack, will also have one pair of wires IN & one pair OUT. You MUST isolate each Jack, before working on it, to isolate it from the rest, then connect up, as you proceed with the testing at each location.
Once you establish a "Known Good" then you can test each Uniden unit, in turn setting them up to go on the Master Jack. Then once all going on the Master jack, then connect up the "Going away" wires, and then go to the next jack, (any) and plug in the unit, and test it, and so on. working towards the "End" BT Jack.
That should enable you to troubleshoot and understand whats going on.
Make sure they are fully charged, the Code is set according to the manual. It would also pay to download a user manual for your exact make and model.

both just stopped working, i can get numbers in phone book, battery looks fully charged. I just can't get no dial tone.

Lost dial tone

is your unit is new?or your battery is new?if not,then it is probably your battery is weak.you cant say that a battery is GOOD if it still accepting a charge when you are going to charge...let me say that even if a power is stored on it ,you still can't say that it is still good.Becoz when a battery is weak,its current or ampere will become lower than the given specification when it was new.Thus,when a current is low,a batery can no longer supply the exact needs of the unit during the time of conversation,and thats the reason why it will shut down in just almost a minute of conversation even you know that it was fully charged .

No dial tone

I would contact your phone provider. It could be a coinceidence that the dial tone stopped working.
DSL does not require dial tone to work.

No dial tone on handset

It may not be registed with the main unit. You may need to register the handset. With my uniden all i have to do is put it in the main base until it says what handset it is (it should be a number).

Bought phone EX18560 Series yesterday. floolowed instructions to charge. Today I came home from work, plugged in telephone jack. phone will not turn on. Attempted to re-register (4X's). Led flashes....

I have two older (2002) model cordless Uniden phones that require the handsets to return to their original factory bases. If they have rested on another Uniden base, even of the same model, there is no dialup tone. Replace to the original base and you should be back in service.

Can't make or recive calls

first, test the actual socket using a good normal phone.
if no dial tone, get phone company to test the line.
if line ok, fully charge handset for 10 hours, if still faulty, follow the procedure to de-register and re-register your handset with the base unit.
