Hello,

You can download the installation program for Windows Vista through the HP website by following this link:
http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=Photosmart+3100&submit=Go+%BB
You will need to select the exact model of your printer then select Windows Vista and the installation file will be available to download.

Thank you.

My windows vista wont let me install my HP Photosmart C4180 printer

Make sure you have the correct version of the software compatible with Vista. It could be that the driver you are trying to install is for a different OS.
Go to this page and download the latest software compatible with Vista for your printer.

Hope that helps!

Will not install Vista Service pack I. Also update for Vista HP Photosmart Essentials 3.5

Hi,
For installing vista you need minimum requirements of 1 gb ram, and 256 mb graphics and *********** board should support. First make sure that your motherboard or the system supports the Windows Vista operating system. Otherwise we can not install. Go through the motherboard manual once. Thank you....
