Re: Downloader says no pictures on camera
Depending on the version of software you have the drivers may not have loaded correctly. Try using a USB port on the back of your computer and see if it loads the drivers then. If not you may need to reinstall the software and the downloader. You may need to uninstall the DB CIF Cam depending on the version of software you have. The reason for this is if the camera was connected to the computer before the software was installed then Windows loads the most generic drivers it can find for the camera. From then on if the camera is connected to the computer Windows continues to load those drivers and not the correct drivers. Simply connecting to a different port can correct this or reinstalling all of the software can correct this.

You have to transfer the pictures and videos in the internal memory to your computer. For this you have to download and install Kodak software on your computer.
( Make sure the computer is connected to the Internet. When you connect the camera to the computer, the KODAK Software Downloader automatically runs. Follow the prompts to download and install KODAK Software.)
Please follow the steps below to connect your camera to your computer; 1. Turn off the camera. 2. Use the KODAK Camera USB Cable, U-8 to connect camera to computer. (Use only the cable included with this camera!) 3. Turn on the camera. After the software is installed, follow the prompts to transfer pictures and videos to your computer.
* If the downloader does not run, find and launch it: • WINDOWS OS: in My Computer • MAC OS: on your Desktop
Note: You can use the Memory card to save the pictures and videos taken on your camera. In this case you can also use a card reader to transfer your pictures/videos.This prevents the user from connecting the camera every time to transfer data.Eject the memory card and insert it into the card reader.
Please feel free to ask your doubts. Thanks for choosing Fixya.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated.
Have you tried opening the chip as an external storage device in windows explorer? I suspect that the photos are all there but in a folder that the automatic viewer/downloader does not recognize. You should be able to do this even using the camera's USB connection. If not, try using your card reader.
Had the same problem till I found the right drivers to run this camera, but if you want to save yourself time and headaches its now worth it Im taking mine back, Ill spend a lil more and get them cameras that work, they dont need Hannah Montanas picture on it anyways. for the manuel to work this fancy gadget go here ....http://digiblue.com/customer-service/downloads/index.html to get the right driver for windows XP go here should work
That will happen. If you open the camera from My Computer, or Computer in Windows Vista, it completely empties the memory. You need to use the Pix Micro Downloader to transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer. There should be a shortcut on your desktop for the Downloader. If there isn't you can go to the following address to get the installer package for it.
Try pressing and holding the trash can button on the back of the camera. Also you can download the pictures to your computer with the downloader program and then press the delete button in the downloader.
