Question about Euro-Pro Fast and Easy 420 Mechanical Sewing Machine

Europro 464xc Sewing Machine

I have a 91 year old customer who is frustrated that the needle moves when she is rethreading the bobbin. I advised her that this may be normal for this model but that I would get back to her with a definite answer this week. Would anyone know if the needle is supposed to move while rethreading the bobbin? My little customer would be relieved as she thinks she's doing something wrong.

Thanking you very much.

I have the same machine, and can't for the life of me get it to sew normally - it seems fine and then when you turn the fabric over it is covered in loose messes of thread! Help! I can't make the tension any tighter or the thread snaps!

Dear frend!
I bought EURO-PROX 464XC with broken hook, but I know about broken part only now ( one and half hour after perchase ).
Could you please tell me where I can buy this part of this sewing machine.
I am an engineer and I can repair this machine myself.
I am old (71 year) and I don't speak English well . I am learning English in ESL school now
Please, excuse me my mistake.
Thank you.

Try changing the needle

Try rethreading the machine top and bobbin

Make sure the bobbin is turned the correct way In the bobbin case

It's possible that the machine needs to be checked for a timing problem

I am having a problem with my 7466 singer. It was working fine then I heard a clunk and now I can not get the bobbin to catch any Ideas

Could be a bent needle, try a new one after you have cleaned out the bobbin area with a brush. Then totally rethread. You can call customer service at 1-800-4singer and they can advise you further. Hopefully, it is nothing serious. Good luck.

I've rethreaded the machine mulitple times and it keeps bulging up on the botton around the bobbin and I keep having to lift the small clip to reinsert the black part where it holds the bobbin. My thread...

Take a deep breath and read page 67 of your manual, it is your top threading that is causing the problem. On page 67 it gives troubleshooting hints, like making sure that you are holding the thread ends when you start to sew, look for a bent or burr on your needle. Replace needle. If, you do not have a manual go to singerco.com and download one for free.
I had the same problem last week and swore I had threaded my machine right, then I looked at my manual, whoa nellie!, I missed a guide and I have been sewing for 50+ years.

Is your needle in right, flat side facing away from you? There may be some thread stuck in the machine, or bobbin area, use a brush to clean it all, then rethread. Call their customer service listed in your manual

I was sewing along fine and then all of a sudden my thread started "birdnesting" I have rethreaded the machine as well as the bobbin. It works great on a practice run but as soon as I go back to my project...

Yes, VERY frustrating! When this has happened to me it has always turned out to be a tiny bit of thread caught in the bobbin assembly. I've rethreaded and rethreaded but could only solve the problem by taking the bobbin assembly apart and finding and removing the caught thread. I use a bright flashlight to help find the caught threads.

Good luck and I sure hope this helps!

Needle won't grab bobbin thread

Check the position of the needle. Some machines have to have the needle in a certain way or they won't pick up the thread from the bobbin. Make sure the screw on the bobbin is tight but not to tight you may have to adjust it a few times to get it where it needs to be. Also make sure the bobbin is wound tight
