The power button is the thin sliver button on the top of your phone. Be sure that your phone has a charge and press then hold the button until the apple logo appears. When the phone is on and you want to turn it off hold down that same button until it asks you slide to shut down.

If your iPhone is completely turned off, press the button on the top of your iPhone until you see the Apple logo.
If your iphone is locked, press the home button (below ur touchscreen) and slide the slider that appears on ur screen

The button is on the top, on the right hand side if you're looking at the screen; you just have to hold it long enough until the apple logo comes on the screen, then you let go of the power button. Remember that it must be charged to turn on :-&
