My ps3 problem is i turn it on and it works for about 5 seconds the flash's yellow then turns off again. how do i solve the problem?

By the problem description you provided I would assume you encountered the unfortunate Yellow Light of Death on your PS3. This problem tends to be caused by a hardware issue. Although I don't have a direct solution, I would suggest using your PS3's Limited One-Year Warranty by looking in their Knowledge Center.

Im playing FFX on a 720P TV but my Playstation 2 graphics look like im playing on an old tube tv. the picture is all fuzzy. I dont know how else to describe it.

I suggest messing with the plug on the PS2 in the back or possibly on the TV. Since PS2's are out of date they do not have the best graphics even on great tv's. Try putting it on a different tv thats newer and see if they get better or worse. If they get better try messing with the settings on your TV. If they are the same its possible they are at their full potential. Hope this helps.

I dropped my ps3 and now it wont play it turns on but doesnt show anything on tv ? what can it be? Please help...

Playstation 3 is very sensitive to vibrations or crashes, you can read that in the manual.
high possibility that its totaly broke, you could contact sony and ask for a guarantee, they'll want the serial code at the bottom of your console so write it down and try a call. otherwise you can try to repair it yourself or buy a new one

Disk read error

The 'Disc Read Error' error message, 'Please Insert a Playstation 2 Formatted Disc' error message, or the 'No Data' error message is an indicator by your system that the console is having difficulty reading the game disc. This could be for many reasons; usually this is because the game disc is damaged or unreadable. However, in some situations, this can be a sign of a more serious issue with your Sony PlayStation 2. Try all of the steps listed below to troubleshoot the error:

Check the game disc.

1. If there are any noticeable scratches or smudges on the surface of the game disc, try to clean them off by using a non-abrasive cotton cloth.
Note: Do not rub hard and do not rub in a circular motion as this could further damage the game disc.
2. If there aren’t any noticeable scratches or smudges on the surface of the game disc, try using that game disc in another PlayStation 2.

* If the game disc works in another system, this is an indicator that your PlayStation 2 may be damaged. For information on getting your system repaired or replaced, you will want to contact Sony directly for assistance at 1-800-345-SONY.
* If the game disc does not work in another system, this is a good indicator that the disc is damaged or defective. To acquire a replacement game disc, you will want to refer to your manual for warranty information specific to your product.

Some Playstation systems, especially the older models, have trouble reading some newly manufactured Playstation 2 game disks. Sony recommends using their Auto Diagnosis tool (http://www.us.playstation.com/support/ps2/hardwaresystem/default.html) to resolve this issue.
