If some of the keyboard is working and some is not, you may need to replace your keyboard. Keys can sometimes fail if there has been a fluid spillage, or if the keyboard has been removed at some point and the connector cable fractured. Or it could just have failed from general use, nothing lasts forever.

New keyboards should be available fairly readily on sites such as eBay.

On kitchen aid dishwasher, control lock is blinking and preventing the use of any other execute buttons. Can't start a wash .

Which model KitchenAid dishwasher do you have? On some models, the Control Lock can be toggled on/off by holding the Energy Saver Dry touch pad for at least 4 seconds or until the Control Lock light turns on or off.

On another model, the touch pad to press and hold is the 4 Hour Delay button. (On that model, you press and hold for 3+ seconds.) There is often a very tiny label below or on the touchpad indicating which key controls the Control Lock.

If you haven't held the button for long enough, pressing the other touch pads will lead to the Control Lock light blinking 3 times if the Control Lock is active.

If the press and hold method still doesn't work after several attempts, then you may have a problem with the control panel. The dishwasher may need repair.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number so that I can check if a different touch pad key is the correct one for the Control Lock.

(the Control Lock feature keeps the dishwasher settings from being changed accidently or the unit started when it isn't needed. This can stop a child from resetting the dishwasher or the unit being started while you clean it.)

Oven door is not closing completely

Sounds as though the electronic latch isn't working. I would have a service tech check it out.

My ibm think pad a22m doesn't turn on . the fan isn't working have power but won't stay on

Chances are that if the fan isn't working then its over heating and shutting down. Check to make sure there is no dust or pet hair clogging it up. If there is then try and clean it out with compressed air. If there is no obstruction then the fan may have died on you. Only thing to do is look into getting a new fan or take it to a repair shop.

Best of luck

Presario C714NR gr983UA#ABA ALPS touchpad does not work I have updated the BIOS and uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but it still does not work

I had a similar issue with my ASUS. Try finding a program on your computer other than the Control Panel that controls the trackpad. For instance mine is Elan Smart-Pad. Usually working with some of the configurations in the program reinitialize the trackpad. If that doesn't work make sure that it isn't turned of due to keyboard interference (hitting a button that turns the trackpad off). Hopefully that isn't the case though.

I cannot move the arrow

Perhaps your mouse is not plugged in to the computer. If your mouse is a usb mouse it will have an end of it that looks like this:

It probably isn't blue on the inside though. It's probably silver or black
If your mouse is a ps2 mouse then it will look like this:

If the mouse is a ps2 mouse then when you plug it back in you will need to log off and then log back on to your computer for it to work. To log off you can press the windows key that looks like this:

and then use the tab button to navigate to the log off button and hit enter. Then hit tab until you can select yes and hit enter.

If it is a usb mouse then you can just plug it back in and it will work.
