Question about Standard (CRT) Televisions
The analog TV set (Toshiba CE27C15) runs automatically setup menue all-over nonstop. How to prevent this setup program running all the time on the screen? There is no instructions about this problem in the manual, nor trying all options helps. Thanks for your prompt reply!
The only way your going to change the video mode is with the original remote. If you need another remote go to http://remotes.com or call 1800 remotes Theres a button on the upper left hand side of the remote called video mode. A universal most of the time will not work this function. You could ask around to your friends and buddies or relitives if anyone has a working Sanyo remote or go to a local retailer that sells Sanyo and see if he would let you borrow one for a little while so you can switch out of the video mode. SOURCE: scrolling menu option on screen
ON the front panel of your TV, try pushing VOL-UP and VOL-Down at the same time. I've had this happen several times with Magnavox TV's. Stargazer

The Plug In Menu comes up automatically when you first turn on the TV after plugging it in. The
Plug In Menu helps you to get your TV ready to use by letting you set your preferences for:
• The Language in which you want the onscreen menus to appear,
• The Auto Tuner Setup of which channels you wish to receive,
• Setting the TV's clock to the correct time so your timer functions will work properly.
Descriptions of each of the Plug In Menu features appear on this page and the next.We recommend
you complete the Plug In Menu setup first so your TV is set up just the way you want,
Auto Tuner Setup
You can choose to view your onscreen menus in three languages: English (ENG.), French
(FRAN.), or Spanish (ESP.).
Press the MENU button
Press UP or DOWN To LANGUAGE
Press RIGHT or LEFT button to choose a language
You will not need to press the MENU button to enter this screen from the Plug In Menu.
