I have sent a text message to someone that i did not want to.i know the recipient has not received message as i did not receive a delivery report.how can ensure they dont receive message?

If you mean that you don't receive the delivery report message, then it'doest exist at all in apple iOS (iPhone)but can be added by some apps.
Check your operator.

Go to Message Menu , Press Options , Choose Settings - Go to Text Message - Change No on Receive Report to Yes and you will receive the delivery reports.

check in ur msg settings whether u hv activated delivery report.., if not activte it.., after tht when ur recipient receives the msg u will get a report on ur phone...,
pending means not delivery yet just on processing. and remind that you have to use 0 or + then press the number accurately. if any message sent successfully then the delivery reports shows not the pending situation okey . thanks
Go to the phone menu, press messaging, press options, scroll down to settings and press it. Press Text Message, and you will see "Receive report", then press it to turn it on.
When Delivery report is enabled in your text message settings, each time you send a text message, a delivery report message will pop out.
It basically depends on your service provider. Mine does not support this function, therefore it doesn't work. However, if your service provider does provide this function, you should receive a text message stating that the recipient has received/opened the message.
