Question about Panasonic PC Desktops

1 Answer

My Panasonic DMC-LX1 will no longer download photos to iPhoto (Max OSX). It has been working fine. the icon mounts in iPhoto, but then the window "loading photos..." just continues forever. Tried this on another computer to same result. Something in the camera is wonky? Any ideas?

We used our camera to record and it was on its side when filming. how do i rotate the clips i downloaded to my computer ?

Go to each photo in your My Pictures folder, and Double-click on it. (One at a time)

At the bottom of the window you will see two icons. These are Rotation icons.

The icons look like green triangles, and have a curved green arrow above them.

(In-between the Zoom Out icon ( - ), and the Red X)

If you hover your mouse cursor over them, one will briefly state - Rotate Counterclockwise, the other will state Rotate Clockwise.

Click on the applicable rotation icon you need, and rotate the photo.
Now close the window. Your photo will now be rotated to the position you want.

IPhoto accedently tossed christening photoes into trash. How to retrive.

If you did not empty the trash, you can open the trash and drag and drop the photos back into the picture or iPhoto folder. If you have emptied the trash, let me know and I'll research and see if there is a solution.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Sad to say that FixYa did not fix my problem.  It was finally resolved when a Borderbund representative advised me that I had to install "Stuffit" before I could download the software.  I purchased Stuffit and subsequently have been able to download the Greeting Card Creator.

Depending on the type of file you are downloading, If its a Jpeg. Windows Fax & Picture viewer should open it.

Check the file extension that you downloaded and verify it is an Image file i.e (bmp, tiff, jpeg, gif)... Then, right click that file, choose properties and see Which program opens it.

If there isnt a default setup Click on Change...and choose Windows Fax & Picture Viewer502fd15.jpg
