You need a small mallet and pin, to hammer out the holding pin, the band has little arrows on the inside indicating direction, remove the one right next to the buckle so that watch keeps its normal appearance...

Good luck.

Back has NO screws. How do I easily remove it to replace the two batteries?

Hi, You may know that this watch runs on two batteries, one for digital display and another for analog hands.
If the analog hands stop working all you need to do is to replace the battery and please replace both at the same time since the band and cover take some effort to remove.
You need to take off the both bands first to access the back side than the back cover with a small knife..
Just in case,if you need the user manual here is the link.

Take care..

You din't. Take it to a jeweler and have them do it for you. If you've never removed links for an expansion band you'll destroy it in the process.

My timex indiglo watch's expansion band is too large. How can I remove links to make it smaller.

mcdevito75 here, Removeing the tiny pins to remove links is fairly easy, replaceing them is the hard part, for this you"d need a Link remover tool, Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area, the $10--15.00 cost will equal your Time, effort and tool you"d need. Don"t forget to hold onto the links removed from the band in case you need them again.

How to remove links from timex ironman data usb wristband

Most metal bands simply need the folded edges bent upright and the link fasteners removed. They look like small staples. If you don't have this type, use a small paperclip, held in a pair of vice grips to push the pins out. Put them back in the way you took them out. the holes will loosen if you don't put them back in the way they were.

Remove links on this watch

Most bands have removable links on the end of the band. You can tell because they have small holes on the side to remove the pins that hold them together. The links that don't have holes are not removable. This is standard on most metal bands.
