The warning light means the alternator is not charging the battery. I would clean the posts on the battery first and see if the light goes off. If it stays on, you will need to have the charging system checked.
1. Turn dial selector to the "off" position and plug timer into three conductor outdoor outlet. 2. Turn dial selector to timing interval desired (i.e., 2 Hrs, 4 Hrs, 6 Hrs, 8 Hrs, dusk to dawn, etc.). 3. Plug outdoor lights into Easy-Set™ Timer - lights will turn on automatically at dusk. 4. Lights turn off 2 4 6 or 8 hours later depending on dial selection
just update the software and replace the battery(if its in warrranty period) from ne service centre..
charge the new battery 4 six hrs nd den 4 second time charging let it b empty...do the same for 2-3 charging period den d battery life will b enhanced
im assuming your talking about the battery, take it to an auto parts store like auto zone or advanced auto, they check for free.if you canget a jump drive the car there and they will also check your altenater for free
Do you wear it daily? Sometimes a customer will put their Eco in a drawer and it will stop. First try setting it under a flourescent light for 48 hrs as close as you can get it to the light...not incandescent because it gets too hot and can damage the dial! If it still doesnt go then you probably do need a new capacitor!
We still haven't resolved this problem. After charging the unit for approx. 4 hours, we could at least turn it on and it stayed on but the battery status still only had one bar.BUT not for long. Now it's back to the original problem which is: when the unit is turned on, it only stays on for about 5 secs. and goes off. I tried calling the mfg. yesterday and was on hold for 1:30 min. and figured they're just not going to answer. Now I know why they want customers do it on-line; we have to pay for the answer, which I think is ridiculous after purchasing their product.
Check your mains adapter plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. I suggest you get a quote first.
Charge your Supertooth one via the car charger or by attaching a usb/mini usb cable to your computer usb port. Need to charge for 4-10 hrs. Indicator light glows red (needs charging), orange (charging) or green (charged)
Power on: Press green button for 1 second. Indicator light blinks blue. A beep will be heard
Power off: Press green button for 1 second. Indicator light turns red. A beep will be heard
To pair with your mobile phone:
1. Press green button on Supertooth for 5 secs until indicator light blinks red/blue
2. Access bluetooth menu on your phone. Turn bluetooth on. Execute a bluetooth search.
3. Select ST ONE from list
4. When phone requests password enter 0000 and press OK
5. The handsfree kit is now ready for use
6. Clip Supertooth on sun visor of your car so that the microphone and control buttons are directed towards you.
To make a call: Dial number on phone. Supertooth will automatically connect. Indicator light is steady blue during call
To end a call: Press red button for 1 second
To answer a call: Press green button for 1 second. The bluetooth indicator will turn a steady blue.
To increase/decrease volume. Press volume buttons repeatedly up or down. They are situated between red and green buttons.
Hope this helps.
Typically the charge light will stay on as long as the phone is on the charger. After 16hrs, the battery should be fully charged. Leaving it on the charger constantly can actually overcharge the battery, shorening it's life. The best thing to do is use it until it tells you the battery is getting low, then charge it uninterrupted for about 8-12 hrs. Of course, that's ideal and can't always be done, but the more you can do that, the better.
Hope that helps, and please rate my answer, good OR bad.
