Model numbder M6P09S2B*B serial AU753815 002w purchased 4-22-06 leaks a lot of water from back part of portable AC coming out of grill just under the air intake - what can I do - left water all over my bedroom floor

I'm sure you can find an Owner's Manual for your unit, if you do a Google search for Maytag M6P09S2B Portable AC Owner's Manual. Most will be free downloads, some you may have to pay for. n addition, the Maytag AC Units were made by Fedders/Airwell under the model # AZ6P09S2A. So, if you can't find it under Maytag, search for the Fedders model number.

You can call the 1-800 number on the back and ask for a replacement hose. or you can make on your self with a dryer exhaust hose its the same thing.

Go to Parrtselect.com. They pretty much have any part you need for any appliance. I purchase all my appliance repair parts from them.

You will have to find out where the leak is . Get down and look. at the front, at the back, where? Check the hoses at both ends. Water can run down the hose from the tap or the drain hose can leak. Water can come up out of the grille in the floor This grille might be under the machine. Check it out Cheers Tony

yOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE THE SERIAL AND MODEL NUMBERS. The factory technician will ned those at the least.Look up the Midea on the internet and get the factory rep to explain the warranty or the dealer you purchased the unit. Good Luck

Make sure it's mounted correctly..the back of the unit shopuld be slightly lower than the front or water can leak over the pan in the front.

I live with my husband and three sons in a house that we almost never succeed in cooling enough every summer. Check to see if the drain is blocked by particles/debris of any type. Also make sure that the unit is level--as level as possible. I have my Whirlpool Portable AC in 4 inch bed risers so I can drain it really easily. I slip under a small low rise pan and drain it every two days or so when it is running. Mine leaked when I tried to incline it backwards to make it drain faster. As soon as I leveled the unit the leak stopped and water again came out the hose. These units must be kept level to prevent leaks so now I always do that.

Sounds like the drain line is blocked you would have to take this unit apart in order to check this. I would use a can of air to blow out the leakage. Also make sure the unit is level

either the area you are cooling is extremely humid or your a/c is freezing up, shutting off  and melting alot of ice before it comes back on.
