Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Can't turn my PSC 2210 on

Hi,
I've disconnected the printer from the power supply (as I often do).
Now when I re-connect it there are no lights and I can't turn it on, like there is no power. I've checked the cables and everything seems ok.
Any idea? Is there a fuse or something which may go wrong?
Thanks,
Raviv

Well any other device works on the same outlet.

I also tried to replace the original power cord with another, but still - no good.

    Thanks,

I have the same problem. I beeped a couple of times a few days ago and then it was lights out. Like it simply died. Have tried plugging and unplugging, etc. Pretty bizarre behavior.

I have to start with the merely obvious first. plug something else into that outlet and see if it works.

HP 2210 all-in-one printer won't start.

Hi

I request you to check the power cable of the printer and remove the ink cartridges from the printer and power off the printer.

Wait for 2 to 3 minutes and then power on the printer. If still does not work check with different power outlet.

This should work.

Hi, first; lets’ start from scratch. Turn off your (Computer), turn off the (Printer), unplug the printer from the power outlet; do not make any changes to the computer. Disconnect (all) the printer cables from the computer; reconnect the cables to the computer, and plug in to power outlet. Turn on the computer (first), turn on the printer. Go to; Control Panel, (Hardware and Sound), click Printer; if the Printer is present; click to open, Properties, click (Drivers): Update Drivers. Restart computer. Thanks paul7of9

connect the printer directly to walloutlet.disconnect the power chord from the back of the printer press the on button on the printer for 10 times.then press the power and cancel button simultaneously and keep holding the buttons while with the other hand disconnect the power chord wait for a minute connect the power chord back to the printer .if that does not work then took out all the cartridges clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges also clean the electrical contacts in the printer then put the cartridges back .if that does not resolve the issue try with new set of cartridges.

After my last print, the psc 2110 lost power and I cannot get it to turn on again.

Try resetting (power off/on) the power surge protector or try plugging your printer directly in the outlet to power on. If not resolved, power off, disconnect and reconnect the printer's power adapter. You may need to replace the power adapter. Hope this helps.

Flashing power light

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Hp psc 2210 all in one printer

You can't load the software that came with the printer.

HP has a Vista page for your printer. Here is a link: PSC2210 Using Vista

Basically, you need to uninstall the software AND delete the printer from your computer. Disconnect your USB cable. Power up your printer. Connect the USB cable.

The above link gives some workarounds for scanning and importing images.
