By that I mean that the lifetime of some of the components might be shortened.That being said however, I would invest in a detailed repair estimate. Report the results here and we can help guide you from there. Without seeing the unit itself, remote diagnosis, especially in this type of situation, is tricky at best. You would be wise to have the actual unit examined. For a set of this size and age, the estimate is worth it.
