Question about Apple iMac G4 Desktop
My IMAC G4 (five years old) just snaps off sometimes after 10 minutes operation, sometimes a half hour or hour. If left off for a while you can always start it again but it will shut off again after a while.. The last line of console when it does this is " PMU forced shutdown, cause = - 122
What is that and how can it be fixed?
Sounds like a power supply issue. You will need to take this to an apple dealer and ask them about it. This one is not an easy fix as it is a hardware fault.
