Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-50WE655 50" Rear Projection HDTV
HI, Remove the lamp driver and check the connection where the lamp is connected to see if the connectins of the lamp driver are not corroded or bit burned.If it is so then replace it.
The thermal sensor may easily be at fault especially if the indicator error flashes 4 times.
this part is not expensive,you may try it after you check the lamp driver connections and if you decide to replace it,it is found on the right side near the front by looking by the back with the back cover open.
