Question about HP PSC 1610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
BEEN TRYING TO PRINT, BUT KEEP GETTING OUT OF PAPER ERROR, PLEASE ADVISE.
You don't say so in your post, but I'm assuming you ran out of paper and you added more paper to the printer. You could try unplugging the printer's power cord, waiting about 30 seconds or so, and then plugging it back in to see if that will clear the error message.
The HP web site also has a page that offers more solutions:
Out of Paper Error
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Did you try moving the paper thickness lever (blue lever on top of the print cartridge holder)? It should be all the way to the left when you start--if it needs to be adjusted the printer message will let you know.

SOURCE: THE PRINTER GIVES ERROR MESSAGE
The fuser sensor may look ok, but if you pull off the back cover and study closer, you may find that the lower half of the right toggle sensor is broken, leading the sensor to "think" that is is stuck in the open postition. As a temporary fix, unplug that sensor from the fuser board. Ultimately you will have to replace that switch, and that is a hard part to find unless you replace the fuser unit.

Tips for a great answer:

Power the printer OFF and ON. Send the same file to the printer, if file has not been released from the print queue then delete all pending print jobs out of print queue.
Disconnect all data cables and power the printer OFF and ON. If the printer returns to READY, Reconnect the data cable and try printing again. If you are getting a paper jam error, please take not the error code and locate the jam. For further assistance, please contact Lexmark Technical Support.
