I can not get the internet on my wireless computer without having the cable from my router attatched to the computer.

that is becuase the settings are not correctly set and put into the router, go to run and type ipconfig then (ofcourse leave then LAN connected to the router, and then see the ip adress and copy it to the browser you have , the defalut user and pass is "admin" and follow the instructions to create the connection
