From the manual:

"Attach the barrel tip of the AC Charging Adapter to the AC Charging port of the POWER TO GO® and plug the standard two-prong plug into an appropriate, functioning 120 volt AC outlet. The red Battery Status LED indicator will flash, indicating a proper connection has been made and the unit is charging. The green Battery Status LED indicators will gradually light as the charge level rises. The POWER TO GO® must be charged for approximately 11-17 hours prior to first use. All Battery Status LED indicators will be lit solid (the red indicator will stop flashing) when the unit is fully charged.

How long does it take a tronic 150w power inverter to be fully charged.and how long does it last after being disconnected from charging?

This device is meant to convert DC power from a car battery and similar devices into AC mains power suitable for running small appliances. It is not intended to be an energy storage device. Once plugged in, it does take a few seconds to reach peak output and will remain active a few seconds after input power is removed. This is due to the slow collapse of the magnetic field generated by the internal transformer that feeds the AC output. You'll notice this same effect in your laptop charger if it is equipped with an LED indicator light letting you know it is energized.

How long should i charge my jump box

I'm not familiar with this model, but other boxes I've used have all had some kind of power level indicator to show their charge level. I'm sure yours does too. Charge it at least until the indicator shows it's full. You can leave the unit charging for as long as you want, actually. The charging circuitry drops to a low trickle when the unit is fully charged, and won't damage anything by overcharging. (We have one where I work. As soon as we're done jumping something it goes back on charge, and it's over three years old now.)

Can I use this as a battery charger?

Yes, you can use this as a battery charger, but you would have to manually disconnect the power supply every so often and check the voltage of the battery to see how charged it was. Once the battery was fully charged, you would need to disconnect it, so it would not become damaged by overcharging.

Do you have any idea why a laptop would power up all the way to Windows and then unexpectedly shut off without powering down? It is still plugged in. The battery is fully charged.

Maybe a heat issue. I had a P4 system once that would do that exact same thing. I cleaned the cpu cooler and fans and added new heat sink paste between the heat sink and cpu. No problems after that. Let me know if this helps.
