Question about GE DBSR453EBWW Electric Dryer
When in service, after two minutes, while the drum is rotating,we are getting a scratching noise with each rotation. The sound gets loud when starting ,then disapears after making noise for 15 minutes.
If the dryer is new, you can call for factory service. They will send a tech to your home at no cost. If the dryer is over one year old, you can try replacing the slides on the front of the dryer and the rear bearing, but if still in warranty any repair you attempt yourself will void your warranty. So let those factory trained people take care of that for you. Save your money and let GE pay. Call
1(800)GE-CARES. Funny number. Good luck to you and please dont forget to rate me.
