Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Scan it will not let me scan gives me message that it has no scan options

This issue when we try to scan from the all-in-one, once try to scan from the all-in-one software, make sure that the software is inatlled properly because we can scan from the all-in-one only when the full feature software is installed in the computer. If we are able to scan properly from the computer then check whether digital imaging monitor is running or not in the taskbar. If it is not running reinstall the all-in-one software.

When I try to scan picture, I get message on printer saying: no scan options. refer to device documentation to troubleshoot.. However we do have scan option. I've used it before.


I don't have a solution, but I too have the identical problem - here's hoping someone out there can fix this problem. H.P. don't seem to have a fix, spent nearly two hours to their help desk, and had to give up in the end as it was way past knock off time!

Takes 45 minutes for one scan!


Hello,

You must have been scanning using large DPI settings. Try to use 100 DPI for scanning. Also make sure that you have alot of free memory on your system. Hard drive space also affects the speed of the scanning. If you are using a parallel printer port for your scanning, this will contribute to the slowness of your scanning.

Kodak esp 5 won't scan


call kodak @ 1800 421 6699. This step involves advanced troubleshooting and is related with the scanner drivers of the Printers. Kodak telephone support will take care of the issue.

oh This is a simple solution open up the hp solution centre icon or the hp director icon whichever your printer software has on the computer.
Then click on settings.
point to scan settings and click on scan to setup and on all the items on the left hand side select them and move them to the right hand side and click on the ok button or the update the device button and you will not face this issue anymore.
your printer software should be installed so that you dont get this error message anymore

try using windows driver first, so that we will knowif there is a problem with your scanners driver.

Open paint and click on file and click on from scanners and camera and let me know if it will give you an option to scan from that app or if you will get an error message.
