Question about Olympus Camedia E-100RS Digital Camera
Posted by Anonymous on
I used a smartmedia at 128 megs and a 256 CF card. In combination it will take over 1000 pics in standard HQ mode. I printed many 5 by 7. Didn't try 8 by 10 yet. I didn't notice any difference in write speed between the CF and Smartmedia. Bought the CF for more storage capacity. I already had the Smart card for my Fuji 6900. I got the Oly E 100 for the same reason, sports and 15 Frame per Sec. i got some shots in baseball where you can actually see the compression of the baseball on the bat. Haven't shot in Tiff or SHQ mode yet. Don't see a need yet in so far as most of my sport shots are printed in 5 by 7 and I want that 1000 pic capacity. In 15 FPS you can easily take close to that many pics and 512 CF is too prohibitive and don't want the drain of a microdrive.
