Have a Sony Xperia U ST25a 8GB White Yellow purchased thru Mobileciti on 31 12 2012. Has worked fine but now does not save and show missed call details or detail of last few calls. I suspect it is a...

This might sound ridiculously, but the restarting of the device might help. If of course the device was restarted since the problem occurred, then a software-update will help. If there is no software update available, you can still repair your current software via the Sony website, and the last solution is to restore the default settings of the device. This last option has to surely help, as at the point of buying the device this issue was not persisting, and this has to mean that after resetting the default settings the device will work normally.
According to certain forums, these kinds of errors might occur due to installation of some applications on the device.

Os system not found,i cant boot windows

Hi khanaboki1,

This issue may occur if the Computer is not detecting the Internal Hard Disk Drive in it. Resetting the BIOS to the default values should fix the issue.

To reset the BIOS to the default values, please restart the Computer, press and hold the F2 Key. This will take you the BIOS Utility Window, there, please press the F9 Key to load the default values then F10 to save and exit. After that, please try restarting the Computer to check if the issue is fixed.

If the issue is not fixed, please try disconnecting all the external devices connecected to the Computer. Also, please confirm if the Hard Disk Drive is listed in the BIOS main window.

If the issue still persists, you may need to perform the System Recovery in the Computer to fix the issue. In that case, you can try accessing the Recovery Partition in the Computer to perform the System Recovery. To access the Recovery Partition, press and hold the F10 Key while restarting the Computer. This will launch the VAIO Recovery Wizard. There, please click "Proceed with System Recovery" and then you can select the "Restore C: Drive" option to re-install the Operating System in the Computer. Performing the Restore C: Drive will erase all the User Data in the Computer and restore it back to the factory settings.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!

I have hp 1522nf printer & it is showing memory low. It is continously showing error 49

Hello ! you can try doing the following:

1. Please ensure that the printer is directly connected to wall outlet.

2. Print a configuration page and check the firmware datecode. If possible update printer firmware and check if the issue occurs.

3. If the issue occurs, please perform a restore factory defaults. Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the settings to the factory defaults, and it also clears the fax header name and phone number.

a. On the product control panel, press Setup .
b. Use the arrow buttons to select Service, and then press OK.
c. Use the arrow buttons to select Restore defaults, and then press OK. The product automatically restarts.

4. If the issue still persists, perform a NVRAM initialization. An NVRAM initialization will return the following device settings to the factory-set defaults:

a. Turn off the product.
b. Press and hold both the down arrow button and the Cancel button, and then turn on the product.
c. Wait until the message Permanent storage init. appears, and then release the buttons. When the NVRAM initialization process finishes, the product control panel shows the Ready message.

On my playstation 3 im trying to play socom u.s navy seals confrontation.I have to install it and it doesnt even say 1 it say error code 80710723. What does that mean and how can i fix it.

If you receive an eight digit 800 series error code, there may be a few solutions.

Update the System Software.

Visit Playstation 3 System Software Update to download and install the most recent version.

To check what version of the System Software is currently installed on your PLAYSTATION 3:

1. From the XMB home menu, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [System Information].

2. The system will display the System Software version number.

Power-Cycle all Network Equipment

Power-cycle means to turn the networking devices OFF (i.e., unplug it from the power source), and then to turn it back ON after a set period of time. This will allow the network devices to refresh its settings.

Please power-cycle ALL of your network equipment, including any wireless access points, routers, Voice Over IP (VOIP) modems, and broadband modems for two (2) full minutes. After 2 minutes, you can turn on (or plug in) your equipment.

Check Your Enviroment

  • Make sure to allow adequate ventilation to flow from the PLAYSTATION 3's vents (i.e., avoid obstructing the vents with long/shaggy carpet, inadequate airflow from cramped entertainment cabinet setups, etc.).

  • Make sure to keep the PLAYSTATION 3 away from excessive dust, smoke, steam, extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.

  • See the PLAYSTATION 3 system Safety and Support manual for full details on Safety Precautions and Use and Handling (manual included with the PLAYSTATION 3 system and available for download from PLAYSTATION 3 Manuals)

Restore Default Settings

During certain troubleshooting situations, it may be necessary to restore all of the PLAYSTATION 3 system settings back to their original "default" configuration.

  1. From the XMB home menu, go to (Settings) > (System Settings) > [Restore Default Settings].

  2. Once you select [Restore Default Settings], you will see a list of settings that will be restored. Scroll through them and press the (X) button to restore the settings.

  3. After the operation is complete, you will see the initial setup screen that appeared the first time you turned on the PLAYSTATION 3.
You will need to go through the initial setup screen before you can use the PLAYSTATION 3.
IMPORTANT
The Restore Default Settings feature will erase any previously saved settings and restore all of the following settings to the default:
  • BD/DVD Settings
  • Music Settings
  • Chat Settings
  • System Settings
  • Date and Time Settings
  • Accessory Settings
  • Display Settings
  • Sound Settings
  • Security Settings
  • Network Settings
  • Internet Browser Settings
Also, do not confuse "Restore Default Settings" with the "Restore PS3 System" option (the next option down on the menu). The "Restore PS3 System" will not only restore the default settings, but it will also delete all hard disk content (You will lose all saved content from your PS3 system's hard drive if you use "Restore PS3 System.

Hope this helps.
