Question about Sony UVW-1800P VCR
I have a 10 year lod deck that works great excellent except the lights have become very dim and sometime go on and off intermitantly. What seems to be the problem and how do I fix it?
If it still works the capacitors on board attached to the display are going bad. Replace any that have corrosion on the solder joints and clean up the corrosion while your at it. If it quit working altogether there is also a fuse or ICP on that board that typically blows too.
