"Subscribe to Packet Data first" message means that you need to activate GPRS on your Nokia Phone. To activate GPRS i.e internet on your mobile you will need gprs setting from your network provider. For this you will need to contact your network service provider and ask for internet settings. They will send you some settings which you will need to save on your phone. After that you can use internet

If your phone asks you to subscribe to packet data when you try to connect to the internet using the phone, it means you have not subscribed for the internet yet.
Try to subscribe for the internet from the sim card service provider first. To do so, contact the customer care of the sim cards service provider and ask them for the shortcode to enter on your phone and the recipient to send it to for automatic activation and subscription of the packet data of your phone.
Then you select the internet settings as your default settings when that is done. You will be able to connect to the internet after this.
Packet Data not available means you have not subscribed for GPRS internet service from your Mobile Operator. Please contact the Customer Service Centre of the Mobile Network you are using to subscribe GPRS Internet.
to subscribe to pocket data you need to call your operator's customer care and ask then to activate gprs on your sim card. most of the operator provide 3 or 4 types gprs pack. if you are airtel user then dial *567# and choose your plan. after gprs activation ask them for gprs setting.(for airtel send text MO to 543210) set recieved setting as default setting and enjoy browsing on your mobile.
you can contact the network operator and ask them to send the internet settings pocket data for your phone. they will provide you the packet data settings for your mobile.

The packet data connection will available for u only when u have subscribed to the network for GPRS like airtel(Mobile office),Vodafone(Vodafone Live) etc. Then only ur problem will be solved.
1. For subscribing to the Mobile office of airtel n/w sms GPRSACT to 222, For settings sms MO to 52586.
2. for subscribing to the Vodafone live of Vodafone n/w sms ACT VL to 141.
