Question about Alpine PowerNav NVE-N852A GPS Receiver
I have a honda crv 2004. Build in sat nav runs Alpine APN2-23103 VER 2.03 disc.
worded fine til now...just started displaying reading disc error. Tried to run a dvd cleaner but it tried to load the sat nav software only so wont run the cleaner disc. Honda want £90 just to try diagnose if disc or system. any ideas?

SOURCE: Alpine sat nav would not load...
This is not uncommon, before resorting to Alpine, try a DVD cleaning disk. It may be necessary to try it up to 6 or 7 times, but it's a lot cheaper than dealer service!!

I unplugged the gps as well as the power buttob from the back. I waited 5 minuts and the Alpine logo reappeared. I was just about to send it in but decided to try one last thing. I hope this helps!
Simple but effective
