You will need to replace the display, call Dacor first to see if they will assist in a price break or replacement part. They are normally good with there customers. But there is no way to adjust the display, its just fading over time, like a light bulb.

Assuming your model number is DMT2420 (since that's the category under which your query was posted) then you likely also need a new secondary interlock (bottom door switch).
Door switch
or mount trouble is usually caused by slamming the door or by opening
the
door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first. If you have a different model, please reply back or contact me directly with the correct model.

Generally, you are speaking about a cover for this item..I'm guessing...or the unit would not work. If it is the guide...it distributes the energy in the unit. Replace it immediately.
