If timer is not functioning... the battery needs to be changed or installed (if timer has battery, such as ST01, Ei500, EJ500 timers)
Or timer such as Aube or Honeywell or battery-operated timer mentioned above, or other possible timers not mentioned, has been exposed to freezing temperatures, and is not rated for low temperatures.
Or timer is defective. http://waterheatertimer.org/Programmable.html#st01 http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-timers.html
Hi Jason. Have you performed the following actions?
Electronic Timing Center (Analog Clock w/Digital Display)
Synchronizing the analog and digital clocks
1. Press the "timer" and "start time" buttons simultaneously.
2. Turn the set knob to move the hands on the analog clock to any time setting.
3. After five seconds the display will go blank. Press the timer button and using the set knob, set the digital time to the exact time on the analog clock. This will synchronize the two clocks. You can now set the time of day.
Setting the Time-of-Day The time-of-day must be set before any other program can be used. When your oven is first connected to the power in your home, the digital display will show 00:00. To program the time-of-day:
1. Push and hold the "timer" and "bake hours" button at the same time.
2. Turn the "Set" knob until correct time is displayed on the digital clock.
3. Release "timer" and "bake hours" button
The analog clock will automatically set after the digital time is set
try resetting the clock. If it is digital, push the clock button and then the number buttons untill you have the proper time displayed...then push the clock button again. If your clock and timer are manual, try pushing in the clock lever and turning it 1/4 turn. If this works it would indicate that your timer has a start and finish time and that the oven is not working because the clock has rotated around to the finish time.
With the power off, push the alarm 1 button, then push the clock set button. Use the skip & preset buttons to set the hour. Push the clock set button again to change to the minute. Again use the skip & preset buttons to set the minute. Push the clock set button again to set. You will see an alarm clock in the upper left of the screen to show the alarm in now set. To cancel push the alarm button and then the stop/alarm off button.
If you look at the timer control you will see a button that is used to set the clock. most likely the oven will not operate until the time is set. Press the clock button, set the time and either press start or the clock button again.
no magic solution...luckily for me it sorted it's self out..
the only thing i did was leave the power off for sometime and when put back on
the centre button then worked...and that meant able to set clock ..
Turn the system on and press the "Clock/Timer" button (located above the eject button for Deck 1). The clock will appear. To change the time, simply hold down either the < or > buttons (the ones you use to change radio stations and begin CD/tape playback). Press "Clock/Timer" again to lock in the time.
