Question about Toshiba e405 Pocket PC

Kingston 256mb SD Card not recognised by PDA

I get no error message whatsoever. Can't access it, have I missed something in the settings? I have tried the card in a another reader and it's fine. I have tried a second card in the PDA and it's still not recognising it. Do I have to enable SD cards somewhere on the PDA? All original software, no upgrades, standard e400 unit.

Re: Kingston 256mb SD Card not recognised by PDA

In my opinion it is definitely a hardware problem. If you have the same problem with two or more SD cards it must be hardware. Please contact Service partner in your country and ask them how they can help you.

I want to know why you have taken $12 US from my account when the problem has not been fixed? The last time I was in contact with you I told you that when I connected the PDA to the computer to transfer...

go to settings
then to connection setting and there you will find pc connection or something related to computer
then chose what you want mass storage or the other options
but for the other options, you'll have to install their software on your pc
better try the mass storage

How to format SD memory card in HTC TYTN II smartphone

To format your SD card, simply unplug it from your PDA, then plug the SD Card into your PC/Laptop (using builtin card reader or one of the USB Card Readers), then open "My Computer", right click the SD Card's icon and format it. Hope this helps.

SD card not recognized

It is not easy to say what the problem is. It is not known to me that there are some settings for this problem. In my opinion in this case is important to find out what is reason for this problem. It can be faulty SD Card or some hardware problem. If you have possibilities try to test it with second SD Card (maybe another producer). If the problem is still there you can try to update or reinstall PDA Image. On this way you can check if error message comes again and find out is this just hardware problem. In my opinion the best way is to contact Service Partner. They can make hardware check. If you have some success and it works well please let me know what the problem was.

128MB sd card not being recognised

Before you can say that there is some common problem it will be interesting to know if your PDA has the same problem with different SD cards (different producer). As far as I know it can happened that PDA has problem with some cheap SD cards that you can buy at every supermarket. If there is possibility to check it with different cards it will be very useful. If this issue occur with different card in this case it is possible that there is some hardware defect and you should contact a Service Partner! Please check this!
