Press the side button for 3 secs until it lights up solid and then go to your phone, search bluetooth devices until the headset shows, enter 0000 as the passkey, the light will then flash intermittently telling you that its connected

First you need to set the headset on pairing mode. To set the headset on pairing mode you need to push and hold down the call button for about ten seconds.
    The
blue light should turn on and stay on, when light is flashing the headset is not in pairing mode

Now, here follow the general procedure for Moto

    you should go to
    Menu
    Settings
    Connections
    Bluetooth.
Now select the "Handsfree" option and your phone will start looking for the headset

Now chose "Look for Devices" option and the phone will scan for devices and find the headset

To proceed, just select the headset.

Can i use my plantronics 230 bluetooth for my blackberry phone?

Hi, yes you can use plantronics 230 blue tooth for your blackberry phone. All you would need to do is to pair the device with your phone.that will do.

How to pair a phone to a blue tooth device?

Instructions

Pair Your Blackberry with a Blue-tooth Headset

Turn on Blue-tooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Blue-tooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Blue-tooth. Click on Enable Blue-tooth in that window.

Add your Blue-tooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Blue-tooth window.

Find and select the name of your Blue-tooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Blue-tooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Blue-tooth device if you receive a call and the Blue-tooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Blue-tooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Blue-tooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Blue-tooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the hand held.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Blue-tooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Blue-tooth headset.

Remove your Blue-tooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

Does explorer 230 pair with nokia 2600

Hi,

the explorer 230 blue tooth can be paired with the Nokia phone if only the blue tooth tooth device is a universal blue tooth.

Universal blue tooth can work with any phone no matter the model. So check the blue tooth if it is a universal blue tooth, try it with the phone and see if it will work.

Have a nice day

Another bang bang solution...

Be sure to charge your headset for atleast 15-25 minutes minimum to get a starting charge. This will also give you 15-30 minutes of talk time to test out your headset and placement, and also get used to being a part of the bluetooth generation.

Once charged, press the call button(the big button on the side) and hold it down until you see a flashing red/blue combination of lights, now you only have 2 minutes to set this up, or you have to start over.

Once the lights are flashing on the headset, it is searching for a phone, now you go to your phone, and find your options for connectivity or bluetooth, once in your menu, look for the option to search or connect to a blue tooth device. Let it search/connect automatically.

Once it is connected, the flashing lights on your headset should stop, finish the connect process on your phone, if it says found it, install it, entering device data, etc etc, follow everything it says by entering YES, hitting OK, or CONTINUE.

Once it says CODE or PASSWORD to enter for your bluetooth device, enter 0000 .Which is ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO and then press enter.

It should take 2-10 seconds for the password to initiate, record into your phone, and pair your device. This is a detailed explanation. Please rate me for my effort.
