Hey this is some kind of OS glitch..
anoder reason mite be is if u download a software or install one..the registry entries of your comp changes and some shell files may also be modified..in this process the system registry and/or shell files may get damaged leading to what you get
here's what you can do..format your computer keep your antivirus system updated and don't install or download softwares whose certificates aren't there as in if those are not from trusted sources.

blue screen of death is commonly caused by conflicting drivers, softwares or hardware components. whenever thses things occured it usually creates a dump file that serve as a log file to check the culprit. you may try exploring your event viewer for a detailed info. by right clicking on computer selecting manage. for slow performance, regardless of what specification you have for the system, the more programs you install and you let them part of the startup is the reason why system suddenly degrade its performance. you may try doing selective startup by configuring which program to load automatically by going to start from the sarch box type msconfig > enter > click on the services tab > click on hide all microsoft services click on disable all > apply > click on startup tab > disable all > apply > ok and reboot the system. hope than helps.

Error Message while booting with blue screen

Basically this occurs by virus hit.. Now better install new operating system and never download cracks or keygens from any sites, most of them will contain virus which causes this.. and note while using pen drives too hold shift key when it is being inserted, this prevents automatic execution of virus.

Blue screen in xp & system shuts down

Friend,
It is an indication that Windows is about to crash. You must do the following immediately:
1. Back up all your data if possible to a different drive. Or at least out of C:\Windows folder where MY Computer resides.
2. Go to www.ccleaner.com. And download CCleaner, the registry cleaner. What happens is that all programs registry themselves with Windows Registry. When yo uninstall the some do remove their traces from the registry, most do not. And the registry keeps bloating. This not only slows down the PC but also can cause a crash when a lot of junk is there. So use this CCleaner and remove all the junk from the registry. And you may not have to reinstall Windows. And if you have to then you have to and are prepared for it by having taken a backup of your data.

My windows suddenly shows "beginning memory dump"

It sounds like you might having a problem with RAM. A couple of questions for you:
1. Are you running any particular type of application before getting the blue screen?
2. Have you recently upgraded your PC with more RAM?
3. Also how much RAM do you have? You need at least a minimum of 1 gig of RAM to efficiently run Vista...even though this might not be causing the problem, but it does help overall performance/

Another thing that you can try is looking in the Event Viewer and then tell me any error messages that you see. To get to the event viewer...Click on Start --> Run --> type in eventvwr.msc and press enter. Once in the event viewer look under System and see if there are any error's that occurred around the time the blue screen came up.

Just in case that its RAM...try this downloading this tool (memtest )to diagnose any issues with RAM --> http://www.memtest.org/.
