Yes, it only has one slot - to upgrade you must replace the current module with a higher value of memory.

You don't necessarily have to take it apart. Simply taking a vacuum, and putting it close to the fans, while sealing one of them with tape works well enough. I tried this on an old HP and it works well enough. Compressed air is also OK.

On most notebooks, switching between the internal display and the external display is done by pressing Fn+F4.
