Sharp aquos wont turn on. I turn it on but no blue light goes on, but i hear a faint click sound. The flat panel turns on though, but all I see is white. So something seems wrong with the main control box. I know the flat panel is fine because I've plugged the DVI connector into my computer and everything looks great.

This is very common in sharp tvs.U turn it on.U get power on light stable right?U hear a click,one or twice,sometime tv is good right?Sometime POWER light and OPC light flashes?Push the power button on/off couples times will work, picture will come on.If keep trying off/on couples time after POWER and OPC flashes,don't ever stop and never get backlight and picture.Ur Video backlight board is dead must replaced.
I have the same problem with my 37" HP which is the same as Sharp Aquos, it's bad backlight inverter boards, the screen comes on for a second then nothing, no menu, no channel change indicator then turn it off and you hear the clicking of the power supply about 10 seconds after.
