Question about RIM BlackBerry 8700c Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Help All that shows up on my phone is a circle with a line through it and in the circle looks like a little box with a circle, a square and a triangle with the numbers 507 below it. I can't do anything on my phone. How can I fix it?

Jvm 507 means the operating system on your blackberry needs to be reloaded. there are several resources to walk you through the process of reloading. It involves using the Desktop Manager Software as well as the Client software for your specific Blackberry device. Could even be a newer version of client software. Just reload the software and it should work just fine.

My phone isn't turning on. When I press the power button it shows the 'Sony' and then shows an error symbol in that typical triangle box with a phone beside it. Help!

Leave it charging for an hour without trying to turn it on. After an hour with its proper charger, turn it on.

Also, try holding volume up and power at the same time for 3 seconds.

Another way to perform the above is to look in the side SIM card slot for a red button. Push it gently for a second.

How do I close tabs on this phone

Dear Nancy,
  • Bring the Tabs to be closed on the screen,
  • Look on the upper left side, you will see the number of tabs opened inside a square.
  • With your index finger Tap on that little square with the number(s) inside it.
  • All of the opened tabs will move down leaving a black margin on the top of the screen.
  • You will see an X at in the the Right.
  • Keep on tapping on the X until you close all of the Tabs.
  • Notice that the number inside the square will be counting down every time you close a Tab.
  • After the last tab is closed, you will see a + sign inside a square on the Left of the screen.
  • You must Tap on that + square to open a new tab.
  • You can also message me directly in the Comments Box if you need more help.
Good Luck

How do i crop pictures on my lg xenon?

open up your full keyboard and click the third button on the right. (that should be your edit key)

then you will see a dotted box on the right hand side (second key you can click on the right) and you can make it a circle or square. select your choice and then drag your finger across the area you would like to crop. it should show up although it does take a few tries seeing that its harder on a touchscreen.

good luck (:

My Htc Touch pro screen, looks like it has a large wet spot in the middle, i know for a fact it hasn't been near water, my screen is totally visable but not able to use by touching the screen, what could...

I suggest taking it to your compaany store but before you go to the store and have them tell u the phone is water damaged, you can save yourself the trip by looking for yourself. There should be a little square located in the back of you phone right below the battery and a little square locatedd on the batery where it connects to the phone. If the phone has water damage then the littl e squares should be red if they dont have water damage, the squares should be white with a plaid kind of design.

Motorola E8 is new and directions are in japanese not english

I can help you there since my phone is in English; I'll give you the exact steps.

1. Main Menu (Click the small circle on the right hand side).
2. Settings (Scroll through with the wheel. The settings pic is a grey box with a white wheel. It's between a green box with the word ID and a blue box with headphones.)
3.Select settings with the little circle in the wheel pad.
4. Go to Phone Settings (this is #6. You can either scroll down or press the number 6).
5. Go to language settings (this is where it can get a little confusing. From the first highlight, click 4 times down. This is two below the battery meter which has the number%).
6. Press select (the little circle in the wheel).
7. First one is English. Press select. And there, you should have it in English.

Fitting instuctions for replacing lcd screen on my samsung e250 mobile phone

ok...
1.take off battery cover, remove battery, memory card and sim card
2. remove the five screws on the back... two at the bottom, two in the middle and one on the mid top right and take off this cover, remember! keep the screws safe
3. slide the phone up and take out the two screws on the left and right paralel with the battery tabs then remove the two screws ether side of the camera...they might be covered by rubber coverings, these pop out easily
4.now you can prise the top of the screen off with a small flat headed screwdriver
THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS HERE, IF THE REPLACEMENT SCREEN HAS NO RIBBON CABBLE ATTACHED THEN FOLLOW FROM FIVE, IF IT HAS ONE CONNECTED THEN FOLLOW FROM
5. its conected to a ribbon cable, remove the tape and slide out the cabble from the screen.
6. now take out the screen PCB from the plastic casing and replace it with your new one and put the ribbon cable in and clip it back together, now reverse stages 3 to 1 to put it back together.
7. if the ribbon cable is attached now you must look at the PCB board on the back for a square copper line, on the left of this there is a big black square just smaller than the copper square, prise this off with your finger nails, keeping it to the side take the PCB up about 2mm and then fold the bottom of it to revele it is conected to a ribbon cable by a bigger version of the black square so prise this off and take the PCB and put it safely to one side.
8. look on the front of the phone under the top bit of the screen, there should be a semi circle in the plastic with a black circle in the top of it, use your nail or a flat headed screwdriver to pop it to the other side of the semi circle, now the slider should go past what it used to o you can slide it up to when you can see the ribbon cable go down through the phone, now push the black square end through and you should be able to slide the whole front off.
9. replace the screen by taking the screen PCB out and repacing it, then thread the ribbon cable back through and slide the front on while making sure the back circle goes into the semi circle and to the top side of it, then thread the black square through the phone to the front and clip the phone front back on.
10. snap the black square back on to the back Circuit then put the circuit back into the phone and snap the small black square back on then go from stages 3 to 1 to put it back together.
this should be fairly easy to do for most people.
