When you take a picture how do you delete that picture from storage (on s d card)

Since I am not sure of the Camera Model, I will go with usual method:

Go into playback mode, button or dial with a [>] button on it.
Select the picture you want to delete and either directly the delete button with trash can icon or click menu and then select Delete.

Easier way is, load the SD card into laptop, either directly if port is available, else you can get a SD card reader from most of the stores, which connects to the USB port.

If in Windows System, once connected, let it install needed drivers and softwares.
After its done, Navigate to the newly created Drive in My Computer (Computer)
Go into DCIM folder or any other folder with most recent date/time associated with it.
Once inside, select the photos you want to delete and click delete. Confirm deletion.

I have a fugifilm finepix j20 digital camera ... i believe there is a memory card installed for extra photo storage ... but is it possible to recovery deleted photos with just the installation disk? Or do...

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

I can't delete pictures from my Smartpart Omintech photo frame.

I had the same problem. I "thought" I was deleting them via my computer (using the delete function in Windows Explorer). However, that doesn't really delete the files.

I had to manually delete 82 photos (one by one) using the klunky menu buttons on the frame. I hope it works. Note that the frame cannot be connected to your computer when you're doing this.
Good luck!

My camera deleted pictures on 3 different

You may try downloading and installing the Memory Stick File Rescue software in the Computer to recover the images if it is deleted from the Memory Stick or you may also contact the Drive Savers to recover the deleted images from the Camera.

I will forward a link to a page where you can get more information about the Drive Savers or the Sony Media Service Team.

Cant delete any pictures or take any pictures

Do you have an SD card installed? If so try taking out the card and deleting the pics or re-formatting the card after installing in a computer.

Disk says not enough space on disk to finilize?

Each time you execute finalization, the disc remaining space will decrease by approximately 13 MB. If you don’t have enough room, it won’t allow you to finalize the disc.
To finalize this disc, you have to delete some pictures to make enough space. But don’t worry, before you delete those pictures, you can save them to your computer.
Find out the CDs came with your camera, refer your manual page 51 - 61 to install ‘PIXELA PTP Manager’ , connect your camera and computer with USB cable, and copy some pictures to your computer, then delete the pictures on camera side. If still not enough room, copy more and delete more. make it enough to do the finalization.

Deleted picture

Hey LucyBe,
Yes there is a way to get your image back. You would need to install a data recovery program on your computer, which there are multiple free programs out there that would suit your needs. Once this program is installed connect your memory card to your computer with a card reader, and as long as you haven't overwritten the deleted image you should be able to retrieve it using the recovery software.

Sincerely,
Allan
