Go to Bios setup. F2 look for the vga display full screen then click yes

When you formatted the hard disk of the laptop, the appropriate drivers were also erased. It is therefore necessary to reinstall the drivers and specifically for your concern, the VGA Display. Pls click here to view available downloads for the Sony PCG-TR3A. You would be particularly interested with the Intel Graphics Controller Driver.
