Question about Nokia N72 Cellular Phone
Sir actually i thing that my phone affected by virus my music player were not work properly and i received one msg that database is currepted.plz give me the solution.
*#7780# is "revert to factory defaults". Nothing is formatted, only your
settings are reset.
*#7370# is a soft reset - a reset initiated by software.
In order to hard reset you do the following.
1) With the phone switched off, press and hold the green "call", "3" and "*" buttons.
2) With those buttons pressed down, switch the phone on.
3) Keep pressing those 3 buttons and only release them once the phone shows signs of life such as the Nokia "hands" logo or the language selection screen.
There could well be a fault with your N72. At this point there isn't much you can do and the battery will run out eventually anyway. I suggest you simply remove the battery and the memory card if one is inserted. Wait for 5-10 minutes and then put the battery back in and do a hard reset as described above.
Hope this will be helpfull
thanks & regards

Tips for a great answer:
The phone has hung up because there are errors in the software. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card using the PC. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation.
