Today my Nokia 1209 stopped vibrating. Instead of vibrating it will do a squekling sound.

    It has a problem within the telephone; I selected General and it simply doesn't vibrate, instead makes a weird sound (squekly).

My dear, maybe you or some one else mistakingly changed the profile. All you have to do is, select the menu button on your phone, select SETTINGS, select PROFILES, select GENERAL OR LOUD, select OPTIONS AND PERSONALIZE, then select style to VIBRATION,RINGTONE, VOLUME and every other thing you wish to adjust. AFTER WICH, select ACTIVATE PROFILE. hope that works

    Good my dear,
    what you have to do now is
    select and activate either GENERAL,LOUD OR ANY OTHER PROFILE THAT HAS ITS SOUND AND VIBRATION ENABLED.

  • Go to nfader.su
  • Type the IMEI code of your phone in the box shown.
  • Check 'I'm the legal owner'.
  • Press "Generate".
You'll get the master code.You can use this master code instead of security code.

If you've forgot Security code of your Nokia mobile phone,
use Security Master code instead. 7452372301 (master code) when it asks for code you just type in the master code. i hope this helps?

VIBRATING ALERT DOESNT WORK
Open the unit and clean the contact on the vibra and check the vibra to see if its stil ok. Use an eraser to clean the contact.
