reinstall your yahoo messanger

First try to close the app in the multitasking bar and then open it again.
If it doesn't fix it, restart the phone.
If it still does not work correctly, remove the app and then download it again.

First update java from http://get.java.com, if still not working, open Internet Explorer, Click on Tools from menu bar. Now click on Internet Options, Next click on Advanced > From the list tick the check box for "disable script debugging (internet exploer)" and save the setting. Now restart all browsers as well as Yahoo messenger. Hope it will work now.

Try deleting all your temporary files.

1. Click Local Disk(C:)
2. Click Documents and Settings, Your Document Name
3. Local Settings
4. Temp Folder
5. Delete all the files inside the Temp Folder

Delete all your cache, internet temporary files,and cookies

• Open your web browser
• On the toolbar menu, Click Tools
• Delete all files (History,cache,temp files,cookies).

Uninstall your previous YM installation. Reboot your computer. Download and reinstall your Yahoo Messenger.

Here's how I solve it:
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

try pressing F11. You are using the new yahoo mail interface right?
