Question about Frigidaire FDB641RA Built-in Dishwasher
I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model# fdb641rab. The latch broke so I removed the old one and ordered a new part. I failed to mark the wires. I have a black and a white from the power source which has straight spade connectors and a black and white that leads to the cycle control which have right angle spade connectors. The latch assembly has a space on each side for 1 pair of wires. I need the configuration of where the 2 sets of wires go specifically. Can anyone help.
Well, I've got a different problem. I need a control module!!!
The flashing WASH light appears to indicate the door latch (switch) is not fully engaged. I proved that I mine which works, just doesn't pump out/drain water. If I unlatch the door and then press START, the WASH light blinks.
*WARNING* 120V ELECTRICAL CURRENT! ONLY ATTEMPT THIS IS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
The switch is located behind the control panel (5 screws from the inside.) The Hot (Black) AND Neutral (White) wires comes from the electrical input and pass through the switch. You can do a simple continuity check with the power disengaged to test the path through the switch and into the control module (pins 3 & 9m black and white).
Now... anyone have a Control Module (working) they want to give/sell to me so I don't have to go buy a new dishwasher? I just replaced the drain valve on mine :( If you do, you can send me a note vidioteic (at) gmail (dot) com
