We have an Acer Aspire 3630 Laptop. Can we connect Wireless Broadband to it and where will the connection go on the laptop? Thank you

Pcmcia card will work... or a cheap wireless connection can be accomplished with a usb type wireless.

Press Fn and the wireless key at the same time. That should toggle your wireless on and off.

Where is the wireless connection button on aspire 3630


Below is the link to your service manual and a picture of the front edge of your laptop. Look at the illustration, the button marked number 5 is the wireless button, the button marked number 4 is the bluetooth activation button. These buttons may appear clear, but remember the wireless is next to the audio jacks.

I have an acer aspire 5315. Don't think I've wifi.


if you're using your pc as a gateway to connect to the internet you need to make sure the pc is turned on and connected before you connect wirelessly from your laptop. alternatively you can connect directly to your wireless router from your laptop, eliminating the need to use your pc to connect

No connection!


disable wireless then enable it ... or reboot the computer reboot router aswell, in this order broadband modem reboot wireless router, then reboot the laptop it should pick up the router and connect... see if you can connect to the router with a wired connection from the laptop .... if you can try doing a driver update acer always putting out new drivers for the wireless cards
