I have nothing in the pair section nothing except bluetooth turned on and the replacement phone is the same phone i had

  • dan8888 Aug 29, 2008

I have tried battery withdrawel and reboot. Did not work for me. So far nothing seems to work Does the 220 have a sequence to turn on or fomulate a driver device. Like two or three clicks. The blue light blinks but is not consistent or steady. When I place the earpeace in my ear and push the volume button, I hear beeping sounds. The device is fully charged and so is phone.

  • dan8888 Aug 29, 2008

that did it and it is working. Thanks

I'm not sure if its charged because I am not hearing prompts or anything for that matter and can't get it to pair or even show up on my phone

Strange. I'm wondering if there's a difference in the software between your original phone and the one you have now, something like that which is causing the problem. Your new phone I'm assuming is the same type as the old one right?

Have you made sure that the phone you have now doesn't already have a bluetooth device in its pairing memory? I know on my razr I could only have one device assigned to the phone, and I had to delete that one before I could pair a new one up.

Try removing the battery from the phone (and from the bluetooth device, if it's not just a plug-in rechargeable device), let it sit a few minutes, and then reinstall it. This can sometimes serve as a soft-reboot for a phone, and may help you.

In order to get the headset into pairing mode, try this: Begin with the headset turned
off. Press and hold down the silver call control button in for 6-10
seconds. The light will flash blue first. Continue to hold the button
down then release the button when the indicator light starts flashing
red then blue. the passkey is "0000" if you're asked for it (this is by default).

Great - my H550 device was similar - I had to hold the button forever to get it ready to accept the pairing. Glad it worked for you:)

Bluetooth paired but not connected?

There are several kinds of Bluetooth Profiles. If you're only looking to send and receive phone phone calls, A Bluetooth headset only needs a Hands Free Profile or HFP.

The EM227 cannot be used as a stereo headset because a different Bluetooth Profile is required. If this is what you're intending to use it for, You may want to invest in Bluetooth enable Studio Headphones.

Try these steps to Troubleshoot the issue:

1. Make sure that your EM227 has been fully charged. the User Guide suggests that you charge the Headset for at least 5 hours before you use it for the 1st time.

2. Go to your device's Bluetooth Settings and scan for nearby devices.

3. Turn ON your EM227 Bluetooth Headset and place it in pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash RED and BLUE.

Don't Forget to keep your Bluetooth Headset and your device within 3 feet of each other.

4. If your device asks for a Pass Code, try entering "0000" ( Four Zeroes)

Once you've paired the device, the LED indicator should now blink as a steady Blue light. Try making a test call.

Remember, The EM227 was only designed for Hands free calling ONLY.

After I complet a call I still get some static in the headset. right now its been going on for 10 minutes. its at a very low volume but annoying

Making sure the headset is fully charged, you'll probably want to try and pair the headset to your phone again. Make sure that any bluetooth devices are removed from the phone. Removing the battery (if possible) for about 15 seconds helps to reset the phone. Follow the pairing instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Voyager Pro.

Having issues syncing my Uniden BT112 Bluetooth to my BlackBerry Bold. I used this Bluetooth with another telephone and don't have any of the old packaging. I don't have a pin number. Help!

Please follow the correct instructions below to successfully pair your headset with the phone.Make sure that the headset is sufficiently charged before pairing.

Charge the battery
Before using your headset, charge the battery for at least 8 hours. Charging the battery completely (and keeping it charged) will help you get the longest possible talk and standby time out of the battery.

Pair the headset to your Bluetooth phone
Pairing is like "introducing" two Bluetooth devices and giving them permission to connect to each other. If you want to use the headset with more than one phone, you need to pair it with each phone separately. Once a phone and the headset are paired, they can connect automatically whenever they detect each other.
1. Make sure the headset is powered off and the power adapter is not connected (you can't use the headset while it's charging).
2. Press and hold Power until the LED flashes alternating red and blue. The headset is in pairing mode and should be visible to other Bluetooth devices.
3. On your phone, start a search for Bluetooth headsets or handsfree devices. (This process may take several seconds, and it will be different for each phone; see your phone's manual for detailed instructions.)
4. Your phone should discover a device called a BT108, BT108 headset, BT109, or BT109 headset, When your phone asks if you want to pair with this device, answer yes.
5. When your phone prompts you for a PIN code or password to pair with the BT108 or BT109 enter 0000.
6. When the headset is paired, the LED turns blue and flashes every 3 seconds. Your phone might display a confirmation message, also.
7. Your phone might ask if you want to change the headset's name; generally, you should only change the name if you have more than one BT108 or BT109 headset that you use with this phone.
Connecting to your phone
Most phones connect to the headset as soon as you pair it; if yours won't, turn the headset off and back on. If headset still won't connect, check your phone's owner's manual for additional Bluetooth information.
Once the headset is paired:
Whenever you turn the headset on, it will automatically try to connect to whatever device it was connected to last.
If the headset loses the connection (e.g., if your phone is out of range), it reconnects automatically. To manually reconnect, press Power.
If the headset goes more than 1 hour with no connection, it automatically turns off.

If you need further assistance please leave me a reply.Hope you are satisfied with my solution.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated. Thanks for choosing Fixya.

MY VOYAGER PRO .. LIGHT FLASHES BLUE RED BLUE RED ... CAN'T TURN OFF, CAN'T RESET, CAN'T RE PARE

If you manually turn the headset off, make sure that it is by itself, no other phones in the area, no WiFi hotspots. Once this is done make sure that there is not a bluetooth already installed on the phone itself, if there is, delete it. Make sure that the headset has a full charge. Try the pairing again. If this still won't work, you can try Plantronics Tech service line 800-544-4660.

When I make a call using the bluetooth, I can hear who I am talking to through the bluetooth, but they can't hear me?????

Make sure both devices are fully charged. Turn off your phone and disconnect the battery for about 30 seconds (this helps to reset the phone). Make sure there are no other bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Turn off your headset and carefully follow the pairing instructions on the link below for the Plantronics Discovery 925.

Just received a brand new, in original packaging, ...

Your headset should enter the pairing mode just by opening its boom. If it has never been paired before, it will be in pairing mode right away. Otherwise, make sure that the bluetooth radio of all devices preivously paired with it, are turned off (or, at least, out of reach). As soon as its boom is opened, and it can't find any paired device active, it will enter the pairing mode. Once your headset is in pairing mode, make the bluetooth application of your phone search for new devices. After a while the H700 should appear on the phone screen. Select it and make the application connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The pairing process should be done only one. All subsequent connections between any two previously paired devices should be done automatically, provided that their bluetooth radios are on and with each other's reach.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards, Carlos

H700 bluetooth help

Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device. Close the headset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized. After this, it will ask for a passcode.

The purple light will not stay lit as long as the mic boom is closed.
Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.

The passkey will be 0000, four zeros.
