Look in your manual and im sure that u might find that most new products will only work on xp and up . this is an ufortunate problem . especially if the camera is new . what u might try to do is see if the camera companies home sight might have a driver that will let it work on 98 . Also if its a card that it saves to sutch a a sd then just get a card reader for your usb port . they are a very cheap and versitile part . i got mine for 1 dollars off of ebay with free shipping . but if niether of these work out for u let me know and i'll look in to it further .

Loud squealing in electronics is usually an indicator of faulty power somewhere or failed components. Often replacement is the best solution.

My computer powers up and the fan starts and then gets really loud and fast.

Is it the fan for the power supply?

I assume that you are talking about the fan getting really loud and fast. If you are taling about the computer, then I say turn the speakers down and load up a game as quick as possible cause you have a killer rig.

The fan of dell gx280 producing a loud sound, how I fix it ?

Sometimes something is stuck in the grill and the blades keep touching it, other times the bearings have worn down and the fan or entire power supply needs replacing.  I used to hit my PCs noisy fan with the palm of my hand and the loud noise stopped!

Dell optiplex gx270 making a loud clicking noise. I think it's my harddrive going bad. Use to shut down when it started doing it, and now will make loud clicking noise and then stops..system runs a little...

Yes, your hard drive is going bad but before concluding that your hdd is already bad do this first download hard disk sentinel and install it on your pc.

after you have downloaded and install the program run a series of test on it. then if you find that the hard drive is already faulty then its about time to replace it

Emachine T3508 Loud Loud Loud

The only sure way to quiet it down is to replace the hard drives with newer ones, that you have selected based on their noise rating, AND to replace all the fans in the machine with fans that you have selected based on their noise rating. I did this for my self-built machine last year and never regretted spending the money on new drives and new fans. It's SO much quieter! ;)
