Can you connect your home sentinel ca1203 to a computer ?

I am not sure cutiing the wires will work. Cables to go makes all kinds of adapters for this type of thing.

I had a similar problem with a "MyCloud". WD replaced it on warranty. The drive had failed. No data recovery.

Sentinel SuperPro is an encryption application that uses a USB drive (dongle) in connection with encryption software installed on the computer.

As you are unfamiliar with this application, it would seem that you have not had this computer for very long, and someone else had performed the original installation.

You can do one of two things, either -
1. Install the driver from the website
2. Make sure nothing is plugged into the USB port, which might be the Sentinal SuperPro dongle, and remove the Sentinal SuperPro application from the computer if it exists in the Add/Remove programs list in Control Panel...

It must work. check if the permissions for connecting removable device is granted.
