Try cleaning the contacts on the foot pedal plug. That worked for me.

Foot control on my Juki 2010 sewing machine is not working, as if there's no power reaching it at all. There is power to my machine as indicated by light coming on when main power switch turned on.

Pam, Could be a bad/broken wire, may be repairable, you should take your pedal in to be tested, if diagnosed to be bad you may have to order a new replacement pedal. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Sewing machine does not sew. Finished sewing something, turned it off, then turned it on a few hours later and it will not work. Light is on but nothing happens when the foot pedal is pressed. Took apart...

Call Singer at 1-800-4singer and ask for their advice, you do not want to void your warranty with not going to an authorized repair service if it comes to that. Good luck

The pedal won't sew when pressed but I can sew using the crank on the side. It doesn't make any sounds at all when pressed and the light still works. Is it a problem with the motor or the pedal? Can I fix...

Check the pins on the machine to make sure none have been pressed in, check the lead for any splits, failing that you need to check inside the foot control in case a wire has come off, make sure it is all switched off first

change the power chord of your pedal, if not, open the pedal and look for the connection if that is cut or loose try to tight or connect it.
