Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S40 Digital Camera
Thank you for the advice. I actually did place a new battery and it worked, however it only worked for one day. I used it again and it seemed to be working fine but I ended up pressing the flash button and all of a sudden the LCD screen turn black. Although the LCD screen was black I was able to take a couple of shots and view them. However the following day that's when the problem arised; the power would automatically shut off on camera mode (even though the lense was still open)... could it be that those two days the new batteries died - OR is there another problem
Thanks for your help
Check the battery contacts inside the camera and see if there getting a good connection. If there spring loaded you might have to pull up on them slightly to get a contact going for charging. Look for corrosion as well.
