Paper Jam in Fuser sat for hours. Literally fusing several sheets together to each other. was able to remove them but have damage to the fuser. But the printer should still work. Not sure what the issue is. I boot up the printer and get 1 blinking green light (as if it is initializing) but it never stops blinking. Tried resetting the machine no access to the Print Server, but know the Network port is functioning.

First thing to do (if not yet done so) is to access the printer through the web admin interface by typing the printer's IP address in a browser. This gives a lot more information than the blinking lights.

The Status page of the web admin interface may say "toner low" or "toner empty" or "error on toner sensor" and that will tell us which color cartridge to handle.

Note that the OKI 3400n has the annoying tendency to fail when loading in a new toner cartridge: a color is low or empty, you put in a new color tube and then the printer says error on that very color! This can be fixed by pulling out the drum of that color (the drum is that entire block which includes the color tube and the container below it; avoid touching the shiny green roller), and lightly tapping on that drum to evenly distribute the new powder inside the container.

You may have noticed that the once the color tube is loaded in, what it does is to empty its content into the container below. Which means that it's no use swapping color tube once it's installed because the color tube is empty by then, and is just kept there to prevent the ink powder from spilling out of the container. The caontainer itself has 5 electrical contacts on its side used to measure the powder content and the lifetime of the drum.

In fact my previous solution about banging the side of the drum to resolve the "error toner sensor" was only a fluke, because the problem re-occurred on my printer a few days later! Here is the correct handling: Pull the drum unit out and on the right hand side of the drum (when facing the front of the printer and looking at it) there are two small copper contacts, and one inch below there is a small rectangular opening of about 0.5" by 0.25". A shutter is inside that opening and when the shutter slides out, it reveals a RFID circuit behind it. This shutter may be shut and thereby prevents the sensor (on the printer frame opposite that opening) from detecting it!

So with a paper clip slide the shutter out. You may devise something to keep it open (glue or tape as long it doesn't fall inside the drum and create some jam). Or just slide it open again if later on it shuts anew.

The data from this RFID is recorded by the printer and the printer's internal counter then determines when the toner and drum are supposed to be replaced. Therefore if you have several drums and toner cartridges of the same color do not swap them indistinctly because that will royally confuse the printer which will indicate the wrong drum and toner lifespans. You may agree that this is not the smartest setup.

My understanding is that the toner tube also has another RFID embedded in it as part of this setup, I have thrown away my old cartridges but will open the next empty one to verify that point.

Amber light on oki c3300 continues to flash and printer will not print

Here's what the owner's manual has to say:

Error status (Amber, blinking): you cannot continue to use the
printer. Intervention is required to recover from the error. Fatal
errors are irrecoverable and require a service call.

Blinking 1 (2S cycle)
An error has occurred but
printing can continue if you
press the ON LINE or CANCEL
switch.

Blinking 2 (500mS cycle)
An error has occurred. You
need to replace consumables
or remove jammed paper, for
example. The printer then
recovers from the error and
printing becomes possible
again.

Blinking 3 (120mS cycle)
A serious error has occurred.
rebooting or a service call is
required.

The Status Monitor in Windows provides a readable description
of the printer status corresponding to the indications of the
LEDs. In Mac, the printer driver provides status information
once you have sent a document to print. In Windows, if you
have the Status Monitor Preferences set to Pop up on alerts,
this readable message will be presented on screen whenever
an abnormal condition occurs.

There's no further information. Sorry.

Error LED blinking after paper jam, won't print

I have a similar but different model B4300. Several others, & I have found that a small piece of paper 1/2 square may lodge under a plastic guide, holding open a switch. This is very difficult to notice if you don't know where to look.
Open top lid
Remove the ink cartridge/roller drum as a single unit.
Look in the printer at the metal roller in front.
A Plastic strip on top & in front of the roller covers 2 square holes which should look dark. On your LEFT, as you face the unit, there is a small magnetic switch, to the LEFT of the LEFT square hole, under the plastic.
In my case, the paper was seen as white in the hole, and extended under the switch. I was able to grasp it with a small medical forceps, next to the switch. By gently twisting, I pulled it out without taking the unit apart.
The printer then worked perfectly after the paper under the switch was removed.
