So, i went to several technician to do something about it.They say, probably it is due to the battery, so I change it with anew one but still the problem is still the same. Is the telephone reception ok? If there is a reception fault this may cause the phone to continuously look for a signal and wear down the battery.

Lg thrill wont charge

Date: May 16, 2014

I have an LG Thrill 4G. My phone just went thru an issue where it wouldn't charge past 4%. Sometimes, it wouldn't go past 2%, so I had to leave it on the charger ALL the time - or risk it dying, completely.

For days, the only services shown on my battery usage were:
Cell Standby: 33%
Bluetooth: 33%
Phone Idle: 32%
Display: 2%

I replaced the battery with a brand new one - NOTHING changed. Battery still sat around 2-4% for the entire day, while on the charger. So, I started uninstalling apps like crazy - just to see what would happen.

NOTHING. Same thing.

So, I decided to at least install the Facebook app back...and the upgraded version had to be installed - so I did it.

VOILA!!! My phone instantly started charging ...8%...14%...24%...52%...80%...91%...all over a period of about an hour. Just a constant charge going up a few percentage points every few minutes...

...and all of a sudden, started going back down pretty rapidly when it hit 92%. Within maybe 3mins, the charge went from 92% to 78% - and I wasn't using the phone. I was just watching the meter drop 2 percentage points over a period of a few seconds, each time. I decided to quickly turn the phone off at 78% but left it on the charger.

After roughly 5mins, I turned the phone back on, just to see what the charge would be sitting at. WOULDN'T YA KNOW - 3%.

How can battery life go from 78% to 3% - while it's OFF - within a 5min span??? Therefore, my question is: was it really charged to 78% when I turned the phone off? Or was the battery meter being "tricked" by some app that might be installed?

The first battery it did this to was the 1500mah. Used that battery for like 3 days of this before I replaced it. The battery the scenario above JUST happened to is my new 3500mah battery, and it's been giving this 3500mah battery the 3% capacity for a whole day and a half now...

Fully charged battery not holding for a full day

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Charged battery fully fitted to phone discharged itself within hours changed battery same thing happens went back to factory settings same thing happens is there a fault on phone.cant get any satifaction...

HTC Phones are known for short battery life if you are using it only expect 2-4 hours
If you are not using it at all and have turned off wifi 3g the screen music and background apps and don't make any calls/txts expect as many as 18 hours.

Battery power is very weak

    1. Try this first  power off your cell phone and charge it for 6 hours
    2. remove the charger and power on your cell phone start using it
    3. please note that don't use your phone while charging unplug it if you need to use
    4. only recharge it when it shows battery is low
    5.  please buy and use original battery and  charge
    6. I am sure that you can see the difference

My phone nokia n95 losses its battery charge every 3-4 hours

Its time to replace the battery. Also check that the charger is working properly, and the contacts on both the phone and the charger are not oxidised. If they are, try scraping the contacts gently with a sharp object like a jeweller's screwdriver , etc..

    hi

you changes the batteries and reprogaraming the mobile in this whole mean while did you use the same charger if yes so you porably charge your mobile with the another one because you said the battery became hot is only becase of the voltage may be the charger capcitor lose their power to store the voltage so you just check the another charger.

    Charge

hi your battery has created a memory because you didn't follow simple battery guidelines:

    For a new phone with a new battery;

1)Use the phone the first time until the battery dies,
2)Do a full charge - 6-8hours for the first time
3)Use the phone until it dies the second time
4)recharge the battery for 3-5 hours

then your battery should be good, but now your battery needs to be changed, as it already has memory and can only be restored if completely discharged by a battery conditioner
