Need speaker box Measurements for a 10 inch 8 ohm kicker comp

Look in the manual that comes with your subwoofer. For most 10" subwoofers, you need to make sure there is at least 1" to 2" around the subwoofer for the front plate. And the figure out how you want it to sound for the depth of the box. Slimmer box equal higher bass, wider box equals deeper boom. You always want to account for the thickness of the wood. If it's thinner wood you won't have that deep of bass. If you have thicker wood it will give a richer sound. Mainly if you building a single box you need at least 12"X12"X12" would be just fine. It gives plenty of room for everything to fit and you can just fill it with foam to make the bass sound deeper.

I need to know how to hook up my audiovox equalizer to my car stereo , I don't have a amp yet , is it still possiabe.?

if its one of those equalizers with the sliding controls and lights then yes it might as long as it doesnt tell you to ground the speakers. If its a cross over then you need amps for each of the 3 sounds , ( lows or bass,) ( mids or treble ) ( and highs ) Look on yahoo for the clubs and there is one that has wiring schematics for most every kind of electronic device. Be careful because its so easy to fry a radio messing with cheap sound inhancements. I have fried hundreds of electronic things learning and still do. Be extra anal about tape and connections for if one little strand of wire touchs anything its not supposed to it smokes the channel. Then you can listen to the wind. Good luck.

Im having problems installing my equallizer i have it hooked up to a amp. do i put the jacks to the 4 inputs or the 2 outsput jacks

Hi, the equalizer input is from the head unit preamp outputs and the equalizer output goes to the input jacks of the amp. There should be only 2 channels in and 2 (or sometimes 4) out of the equalizer. If you need more help, please provide model numbers of the head unit, equalizer, and amplifier and tell me all of the speakers you are trying to hook up.

No power or dead set

Always on a dead set start by checking from the power supply. check for in line fuse, check for the regulator which feeds the main board and processor section.
A test of the voltage with a multimeter will be needed.

  4. Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
